This article is aimed at ensuring the safety of workers in the metallurgy industry and reducing the number of workplace injuries. It highlights the key requirements for materials used in the production of specialized protective clothing designed for workers operating in high-temperature industrial environments. In particular, it provides an in-depth analysis of essential factors such as heat resistance, flame resistance, mechanical strength, reflectivity, lightness, and hygroscopic properties. Workers in the metallurgical sector are exposed to hazardous conditions such as high temperatures, molten metal splashes, sparks, and infrared radiation. Therefore, the article offers recommendations for the development of protective clothing that can effectively safeguard against these risks.
