This article investigates the statistical description of meronyms recorded in explanatory dictionaries of the Uzbek language. The study utilizes materials from the National Corpus of the Uzbek Language and statistically analyzes 60 out of 214 meronyms selected from explanatory dictionaries. The frequency of occurrence of meronyms in corpus texts, the number of documents in which they appear, and their proportion of the total frequency are determined. Based on the statistical analysis, meronyms are classified into high-, medium-, and low-frequency groups. In particular, meronyms denoting parts of the human body, such as head, foot, and shoulder, are found to occur with high frequency. The findings contribute to elucidating the frequency patterns of meronymic relations in Uzbek and their distribution across semantic groups.
