This study presents a comparative analysis of the dynamics of photoexcited charge carriers at the heterointerfaces formed between CsPbBr₃ quantum dots and ZnO and TiO₂ oxide semiconductors. Energy band alignment, interfacial charge redistribution, photoluminescence (PL) quenching, and time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) parameters were selected as the primary criteria for analysis. Electron extraction and hot-carrier kinetics were identified as the dominant mechanisms in the CsPbBr₃/ZnO system, whereas S-scheme charge transfer—driven by an internal electric field—was identified as the key mechanism in the CsPbBr₃/TiO₂ system. The results demonstrate that changes in PL intensity should not be interpreted in isolation but rather in conjunction with recombination rates, surface defects, and interface morphology. Based on these findings, an experimental investigation scheme is proposed to distinguish the respective effects of ZnO and TiO₂ on the optical response of CsPbBr₃.
