This article theoretically substantiates the pedagogical possibilities of gamification technology in developing the professional competencies of future preschool educators. The study highlights the content of educator competencies, the importance of motivation and activity-oriented approaches in modern educational conditions. Also, the educational factors of gamification, its integration into the educational process and mechanisms for increasing educational efficiency are scientifically analyzed. As a result of the article, the need to use gamification technology in the system of training future educators is substantiated through didactic and psychological foundations
