This article analyzes the teaching of historical terms in history lessons based on modern pedagogical technologies. The didactic significance of historical concepts is revealed, and the potential of interactive, problem-based, competency-oriented, and digital pedagogical technologies in forming historical terminology is examined. It is substantiated that working with historical terms plays an important role in developing students’ historical thinking, critical reasoning, and communicative competencies.
