Abstract

This article provides a scholarly analysis of innovative pedagogical approaches used in the process of fostering historical memory and cultural identity among students. It examines the potential of integrating digital technologies, interactive methods, virtual and augmented reality tools, digital storytelling, and project-based learning into the educational process to enhance students’ historical consciousness, deepen their respect for national heritage and values, and strengthen their cultural identity. The study substantiates the effectiveness of combining these modern technologies with traditional educational approaches to create a comprehensive model for developing historical memory and cultural identity. By emphasizing experiential learning, intergenerational dialogue, and the contextualization of historical narratives, the article proposes a pedagogical framework that not only preserves collective memory but also cultivates civic-mindedness and a strong sense of belonging among the younger generation.
