Abstract

This article analyzes the level of students’ competence in creating digital resources—such as electronic textbooks, infographics, presentations, video lessons, interactive tests, and online course materials—in the modern higher education system. Based on the methods of scientific literature review, pedagogical observation, and comparative analysis, the study aims to identify the main deficiencies in students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in this area. The results showed that the majority of students primarily use digital tools as consumers, while experiencing difficulties in independently designing and creating high-quality educational content. The article systematizes the main causes of the identified problems and develops practical recommendations for addressing them.
