This thesis discusses methods for assessing the critical thinking skills of future English language teachers. Critical thinking encourages learners to think logically and analytically, to analyze information, and to justify their opinions. The thesis highlights the importance of critical thinking skills required for English language teachers, as well as methods for their development and assessment. The aim of this study is to propose innovative approaches that help effectively develop critical thinking skills in the pedagogical activities of future teachers. The work also contributes to the development of new methodological approaches to fostering critical thinking in the educational process.
