This article analyzes the theoretical, linguistic, and technological aspects of machine translation, a significant field within artificial intelligence. It highlights key challenges facing machine translation systems, such as the complex structural-semantic nature of natural languages, the polysemy of lexical units, the varying interpretations of syntactic constructions, and the influence of linguistic and extralinguistic factors on the translation process.
