ANALYSIS OF STUDIES CONDUCTED ON THE VINCA ERECTA REGEL TYPE

This article analyzes scientific research conducted on the systematic position, geographical distribution, bioecological features, chemical composition, and pharmacological significance of the Vinca erecta Regel species. Considered one of the important medicinal representatives of Central Asian flora, this species is distinguished by its richness in alkaloids. Research has established that the plant contains biologically active indole alkaloids and is widely used in folk medicine and pharmaceuticals. Issues regarding the protection of the species' natural range, ecological adaptations, and resources are also highlighted.
