Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations of foresight technologies in the modern education system, their pedagogical potential, and their role in improving the process of preparing students for educational and воспитательная activities. The foresight approach is considered an effective tool for strategic educational planning, forecasting future development trends, modeling alternative scenarios, and introducing innovative approaches into the educational process. Based on international scientific sources, advanced foreign experience, and contemporary pedagogical studies, the paper reveals the possibilities of foresight methods in organizing educational activities, their correlation with the competency-based approach, and their significance in developing students’ reflective, prognostic, and project-oriented thinking. In addition, the study analyzes the effectiveness of implementing foresight technologies in educational practice, their existing limitations, and promising directions for further development. The research findings demonstrate that foresight technologies have substantial scientific and practical value in modernizing education, improving the quality of educational processes, and strengthening the professional and pedagogical training of future specialists.
