This article examines the historical evolution of the female lyric “I” in Uzbek women’s poetry from the nineteenth century to the late twentieth century. In the classical period, poets such as Uvaysiy and Nodira expressed the lyric subject within religious-mystical and traditional poetic forms. During the Soviet era, new social content and freer forms emerged in Uzbek women’s poetry, and the lyric “I” gradually transformed. In the independence period, Halima Xudoyberdiyeva’s poetry gave the female lyric subject a distinctly powerful, independent, and rebellious character. The article aims to identify the internal evolutionary direction of Uzbek women’s poetry and to define the distinctive poetic model of each period.
