MODERN APPROACHES TO ASSESSING LEGAL COMPETENCE

This thesis provides a systematic analysis of modern approaches to assessing legal competence in students. The thesis considers competency-based approaches that integrate elements of legal knowledge, skills, and behavior as a key concept. The results of modern pedagogical and psychological research, including diagnostic, formative, and summative forms of assessment, are examined in detail in terms of their effective application in developing students’ legal thinking and analytical abilities. In addition, the thesis presents innovative approaches to assessing legal competence through digital technologies, interactive methods, and educational field-based learning. The thesis develops strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing students’ legal culture and forming competencies in accordance with modern academic standards.
