THE “GREEN” ECONOMY AND ITS PHILOSOPHICAL-SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the essence of the green economy concept, its historical formation, philosophical foundations and social significance. The green economy is considered as an important paradigm for ensuring sustainable development, environmental security, social justice and human well-being in modern society. The article also covers the strategy of transition to a green economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan, measures within the framework of the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy in 2025, and future prospects. Special attention is paid to the transition from anthropocentrism to ecocentrism, the principle of responsibility, social justice and the issue of green jobs.
