Abstract

This thesis explores the scientific and methodological aspects of using innovative pedagogical technologies to develop school teachers’ professional competence through education and character formation. In the modern educational process, it is important for teachers not only to possess subject-specific knowledge but also to acquire pedagogical, communicative, methodological, information and communication, and innovative competencies. From this perspective, the thesis analyzes the effective use of interactive teaching methods, digital educational technologies, problem-based learning, project-based learning, collaborative learning, and reflective approaches in developing teachers’ professional competence through education and character formation. Furthermore, it substantiates ways of enhancing teachers’ methodological skills, independent decision-making abilities, creativity, and the effectiveness of their pedagogical activities through the systematic integration of innovative pedagogical technologies into their professional practice. The findings demonstrate that innovative technologies are an important tool for supporting the professional development of school teachers, improving professional development and in-service training processes, and preparing pedagogical professionals who meet the requirements of modern education.
