This article examines the pressing issues of constitutionally and legally guaranteeing the right to privacy in the context of the rapid development of the digital economy and information technologies. In the era of global networks, artificial intelligence, and Big Data, cases of unauthorized collection, distribution, and commercial exploitation of citizens' personal data are analyzed. Specifically, real-world instances such as data breaches in the banking and financial sectors, the illegal misappropriation of applicants' and students' data by private educational institutions, and privacy violations on social media highlight the gaps in national law enforcement practices. The article comparatively studies the new edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and national legislation against advanced international standards like the EU's GDPR and the US's CCPA. As a result of the research, practical proposals are developed aimed at improving constitutional and legal mechanisms to reliably protect personal privacy in the information space, introduce the "right to be forgotten," and ensure data security.
