This article analyzes pressing problems emerging in the field of copyright under conditions of the rapid development of digital technologies and the Internet. The study classifies the main forms of infringement — plagiarism, digital piracy, content theft, and unauthorized reproduction — through the example of the media space, and comparatively examines their legal and technological aspects. The author compares the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Copyright and Related Rights” with international standards (the Berne Convention, WIPO treaties) and proposes conclusions on improving protection mechanisms.
