Abstract

This article examines the motivational and value-based components as key elements in developing innovative thinking in students at technical universities while learning a foreign language. It examines the theoretical foundations of motivation and its impact on education and innovation. Examples of pedagogical practices aimed at increasing motivation and developing motivational and value-based orientations that have professional significance are provided.
