The article analyzes the importance of digital technologies in developing the information culture of primary school students in the modern information society. From a theoretical perspective, the methods of forming information literacy skills in primary education are considered, based on the cognitive development theories of Piaget, Vygotsky, and Papert, as well as digital pedagogy approaches. The advantages (interactivity, individual approach) and challenges (lack of critical thinking, information security) of using digital resources are discussed. Solutions proposed based on UNESCO and ISTE standards are also presented.
