This article examines the concept of deontology, its philosophical and pedagogical foundations, and its significance in the education system. Deontology is interpreted as a theoretical field based on the principles of professional duty, moral norms, and responsibility, regulating human behavior in professional activity. In the pedagogical context, deontology plays a crucial role in shaping teachers’ professional ethics, humanistic values, and respectful and fair attitudes toward learners. The article reveals the pedagogical essence of deontology and its interrelation with empathy, communicative culture, and professional responsibility. In addition, the methodological foundations for developing deontological culture among future teachers and the possibilities of its implementation in the educational process are substantiated. The findings indicate that the deontological approach serves as an important pedagogical tool for the development of teachers’ professional and moral qualities.
