This article analyzes the representation of modern society in the works of Zadie Smith, focusing on its main social and cultural characteristics. The study examines the artistic depiction of multiculturalism, identity crisis, racial and class inequality, and the processes of globalization in the author’s novels. In addition, a comparative analysis of the complex social structure of contemporary London society is conducted based on the novels White Teeth and NW. The results confirm that Zadie Smith’s works realistically and critically reflect modern society and demonstrate her significant place in global literature.
