Abstract

This article studies the semantic scope of phraseological units in Yusuf Khos Hajib's epic poem "Kutadgu bilig" and their pragmatic functions in the text. The features of the stable units in the work in creating a portable meaning and their role in expressing the author's communicative intention are analyzed.
