EXPRESSION OF PRAGMATIC PRESUPPOSITION IN ENGLISH AND UZBEKISTAN INTERNET NEWSPAPER HEADLINES ON THE BASIS OF LEXICAL-SEMANTIC AND SYNTACTIC MEANS

This article analyzes how pragmatic presupposition is expressed in English and Uzbek internet newspaper headlines through lexical-semantic and syntactic means. Within the framework of the study, the language and context-related features of headlines, what implications they create in the reader's mind, as well as the formation of presupposition through various linguistic means - lexical units, phraseological combinations, syntactic structures and intonational signs are studied. The results show that in English and Uzbek newspapers, in addition to their communicative function, headlines serve as an effective tool for orienting the reader to a certain context and evoking a certain cognitive or emotional response. The results of the article contribute to a deeper understanding of the communicative significance of language tools in the fields of media linguistics and pragmatics.
