Abstract

Hypertension is a disease related to the cardiovascular system and is characterized by an increase in blood flow velocity. About 40% of the population in our country suffers from this condition. 37% of men and 58% of women are aware that they have hypertension, but only 22% of men and 46% of women receive treatment. Hypertension is considered a chronic disease that requires long-term treatment and strict control.This article addresses questions about the origin of hypertension and the principles of its prevention
