The study examines tourism infrastructure, service quality, investment processes, and factors of international cooperation, identifying their contribution to improving the living standards of the local population. Furthermore, the economic potential of tourism in preserving historical and cultural heritage, supporting small business, and promoting private entrepreneurship in the region is analyzed. Based on statistical data, economic-analytical methods were applied to scientifically substantiate the interrelation between sustainable tourism development and population welfare. The results of the research can be utilized to improve regional tourism policies and to develop practical recommendations aimed at enhancing the well-being of the population.
