Ushbu maqolada simsiz sensor tarmoqlari (WSN) texnologiyasining tuzilishi, ishlash prinsipi va amaliy qo‘llanilish sohalari yoritilgan. WSN tizimi ko‘plab mustaqil sensor tugunlardan tashkil topib, atrof-muhitdagi fizik jarayonlarni kuzatish, ma’lumotlarni yig‘ish va tahlil qilish imkonini beradi. Ishda WSN arxitekturasi, uning asosiy komponentlari – sensor moduli, radio moduli, mikrokontroller, quvvat manbai va baza stansiyasi haqida batafsil ma’lumot keltirilgan. Shuningdek, tarmoq topologiyalari va turlari (yer usti, yer osti, suv osti, multimedia hamda mobil sensor tarmoqlari) tahlil qilingan. Afzalliklari sifatida energiya tejamkorlik, moslashuvchanlik va real vaqt monitoringi qayd etilgan bo‘lsa, kamchiliklari sifatida xavfsizlik zaifliklari, aloqa diapazonining qisqaligi va joylashtirishdagi murakkabliklar ta’kidlangan. Ushbu tadqiqot WSN tizimlarining samaradorligini oshirish hamda ularni keng ko‘lamli amaliyotlarga tatbiq etish imkoniyatlarini yoritishga qaratilgan.
