Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common functional disorders in women of reproductive age. Traditional treatment methods include the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antispasmodics and hormonal drugs, which are often accompanied by side effects and do not solve the problem in the long term. Modern scientific data indicate a significant role of nutritional deficiencies in the formation of pain syndrome in dysmenorrhea. Complex replenishment of deficiencies of vitamin D3, iron, magnesium, B vitamins and protein is an effective method for relieving pain in dysmenorrhea. This approach not only eliminates the symptoms, but also has a beneficial effect on the general condition of the body, improving the quality of life of patients.
