The history of Egypt, which served as a gateway for Asia to the African continent, during the First World War is noteworthy. On the eve of the First World War, Egypt became a colony of Great Britain and the Ottomans, and changed from a khadi to a sultanate. Also, these events show the courage of the local population of Egypt, the continuous continuation of the national liberation struggle. It is highlighted that the pro-British policy of some khadi had great negative consequences for the way of life of ordinary people. It is revealed that during the First World War, the territory of Egypt became an important strategic point and that Great Britain achieved many victories thanks to the help of the "Egyptian Labor Corps".
