Abstract

The article examines the features of the verbalization of environmental concepts within the publicistic discourse of different linguistic cultures. Based on an analysis of newspaper, magazine, and online texts, the study investigates the lexico-semantic, metaphorical, and evaluative means used to represent concepts such as "nature," "ecology," "climate change," and "sustainable development." It is demonstrated that national-cultural specifics manifest in the choice of metaphorical models, the degree of emotional coloring in the text, and the nature of appeals to cultural symbols.
